The Esprit Audio philosophy
The story of ESPRIT begins in 1996. It was the year that Richard, who had always been passionate about music and hi-fi, began manufacturing cables. As is often the case in the audio industry, the cables he made for himself were good enough to pique the interest of a number of dedicated enthusiasts. This is how Richard found himself making cables for friends.
Subsequently, one thing led to another, he created ESPRIT with one goal in mind: to make the best cables.
Nearly 25 years later, the ethos is still the same: select the best materials for every part of every type of cable, then assemble them in the best possible way.
Richard often says it's like a cooking recipe: if you don't know how to combine the ingredients, you can have the best and still be wrong. On the other hand, if you know how to combine them, you can achieve exceptional results.
The ESPRIT range reflects precisely this: over 20 years of testing and research into every possible material imaginable.
Words and information are one thing - and are important, of course - but what has made ESPRIT successful over the years is the sonic performance that our cables can deliver. This is why listening to music will always be better than talking about the merits of materials and technical applications.
